Dorian

Derived from the Greek name Dōrieus, denoting an inhabitant of Doris or a member of the ancient Dorian tribe. Oscar Wilde lifted the name from classical history and attached it to an unaging portrait in his 1890 novel The Picture of Dorian Gray. American parents largely ignored it until the mid-twentieth century, when it entered the registry as a brooding, bookish choice.

The name sounds like someone who owns antique bookends and understands lighting ratios. In practice, the average bearer is twenty-eight years old and navigating modern adulthood like anyone else.
