The name reads as short, deliberate, and slightly extraterrestrial. For decades it belonged almost exclusively to character actresses and moons of Saturn, but recent nurseries have claimed it in volume. Over a third of all living Rheas are still in elementary school or younger. It suggests parents who wanted an ancient name without committing to four syllables.
