Zayden

A modern American coinage. The name developed during the late-1990s and 2000s rhyming wave that propelled Aiden, Jayden, and Brayden up the charts, distinguished by its high-energy initial consonant. It entered the national register in 2000 and grew entirely within the twenty-first century.

A name that did not exist in the official index before the turn of the millennium. It reads squarely as a twenty-tens creation, populated almost entirely by children who have never touched a physical encyclopedia. Around eighty-one percent of living Zaydens belong to Generation Alpha. Hearing the name called out usually signals an elementary school pickup lane or an indoor trampoline park.
