Octavia

From the Latin Octavius, a Roman family name rooted in octavus, meaning eighth. In imperial Rome it belonged to Augustus Caesar's sister. American parents mostly ignored it until the late twentieth century, treating it as a Latin exercise rather than a nursery option.

The name sounds like it should belong to an empress or a Victorian headmistress, but nearly half of all living bearers are currently in elementary school or younger. It carries a theatrical weight that its actual holders have not yet grown into. People expect someone who reads thick paperbacks on trains.
